Our therapertic riding is up and running. We have a variety of instruction  for our students. Through games, stretching and instruction by our Certified instructors your child will develop muscle, balance and self confidence. And a wonderful relationship with a four legged friend, who will take care of them and will help them grow.

The horses used in our therapeutic ridding program have been doing so for more than 5 years. Andy, Slick and Charlie Brown look forward to meeting your loved one. So come to see us at South 40 Farm.

Our program is open all year round weather permitting. We do not stop like other programs. To us here we feel that it is important to continue all year so that your child can grow and maintain what they have learned. So give us a call.

Meet some of the horses who will be involved:

Andy

 Halflinger

Andy is a steadfast loyal buddy. He's gone from pulling logs and being a part of a driving team with his best friend Slick, to happily carrying students around the ring for western and 5 years of therapeutic riding lessons.

Silck

Halflinger/Paint 

Slick is Andy's other half. They have been together since they were four months old. Slick also spent his time pulling logs and being a part of the driving team with Andy. Slick now enjoys carrying students of all levels and abilities in hunter/jumper and 5 years of therapeutic riding lessons and shows. He is a barn favorite, everyone enjoys and learns something from Slick.

Charlie Brown

Shetland Pony

Charlie is a little teddy bear who will do anything, go anywhere, and loves kids. From carting a three year old around in lead-line classes at local shows to having 5 years experience in therapeutic riding Charlie is a real sweetheart who takes care of his riders.
